Day 12 (5.4.12)
Sleep: 8 plus hours. I am good at sleeping.
pre work out coffee on the way to the gym with skim.
Trained: Max-bench (which wasn’t a PR or a max) 80 lbs. Did 89 for one last week. Not enough protein?
WOD- Fran = 10 minutes 36 seconds.
Beat my time with a lighter band! Tried a few thrusters with the RX’ed weight - went down to 55 because I would have been late for work. Next time I will do the RX’ed weight.
Breakfast: 6 meatballs (12 GOP) with leftover sauce + cauliflower rice pilaf. 5 raw radishes + some kimchi. Big glass of water with lime.
Lunch: Salad. 1 small head of butter lettuce, 1 can of tuna in water (24 GOP), 1/2 an avocado (2 GOP), radishes, scallions, 1 tomato, some leftover raw zucchini, lime + olive + little salt + pepper.
Delicious but I didn’t wash my lettuce well enough…so I also ate a little sand.
Took Sophie to the park to play ball (mentioning this so because it gives me a reason to add a picture of her to my next post)
Had a spoonful of almond butter (2.4 GOP) because I was really hungry when i got home from work.
Dinner: 6 chicken drumsticks (13 GOP each, 78 GOP total) they were delicious, I was hungry) with dry rub and some bbq sauce. We were at a friends house for dinner who was kind enough to not put sugar in his rub but I couldn’t say no to sauce…oops. Grilled zucchini/squash/red peppers, carrot salad from grocery, spinach salad with a little feta, and I had a small helping of israeli couscous (see picture in next post). Also had 2 glasses of white wine with dinner.
GOP total: 118 GOP

you can see the chicken towards the end of that nom nom paleo entry.
I don’t have much of an appetite, I am feeling very under the weather. Sore throat, headache, generally icky.
The chicken was delicious and the brine was totally worth the wait. Highly recommend making it.

I was a little excited but mostly blorft. “Blorft” is an adjective I just made up that means ‘Completely overwhelmed but proceeding as if everything is fine and reacting to the stress with the torpor of a possum.’
I have been blorft every day for the past seven years.
